What about the Pastor?
Byron Snellings and his wife, Kayla, have been happily married for 5 years. They have a son, Brandt and twin girls, Kate and Ella.
Pastor Byron's life was radically changed on February 10, 2010 when he came to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. After a tumultuous childhood, Byron spent his teenage years in addiction while denying the existence of God. Everything changed when he went to a Wednesday night church service and heard the Gospel preached. On that night God called Byron out of darkness and into His marvelous light. He began preaching that same year and has served as an associate pastor, fill-in preacher, and Sunday School teacher. He loves reading, teaching and talking about the Holy Bible. He is an expository preacher, often diving deep into the context, history, and original languages of the Scriptures. His goal with each sermon is to, "Make the texts digestible to every reader and hearer of the Word."
Pastor Byron enjoys spending time with his family. He especially loves playing guitar and singing to his children. He spends much of his free time reading, long distance running, and exercising. Byron is also a volunteer firefighter/EMT.
